Annenberg Media - A wonderful resource for viewing streaming videos concerning different educational topics. This site is free, but you do need to register with an email address.
Zamzar - A great tool you can use to easily convert streaming video and music files onto your hard drive. This tool takes a little time unless you pay for the full service. Try it out.
Timetoast - An easy to use timeline creator. "Timetoast" allows students to create interactive timelines that can contain pictures and links to other websites. You can also embed your created timeline into a wikipage or any other type of web 2.0 media. See this link for an example.
Fodey - Use this 2.0 tool to give a newspaper feel to your document. This is flash based tool so you can either print the final product or embed it into a website.
Thinkfinity - This is a great resource for locating websites, lesson plans, and other resources. This site searches 9 of the most robust collections of educational resources available. Best of all, it's free and you do not need to create an user account!
Wikispaces - Wikispaces is a cheap and easy way for you or your students to create a websites. By setting up an educator account you and your students can create websites that are free from ads.
